Workshop: Glazed and Confused
Are you getting the hang of making things in clay but are always disappointed with your glazing results? This is the workshop for you!
Clay Center founder and Tulane ceramics professor Michelle Swafford will explain the fundamentals of glazes and glazing, and will then demonstrate specific techniques that you can use to improve your glaze results right away.
Students are encourage to bring up to 4 pieces to glaze during this workshop. Pieces must be bisque fired prior to the workshop, whether at the Clay Center or at another studio. (No kiln access? Check out our drop-off firing service!)
