Please note that the Clay Center will be closed the following days:

• Mar 1-5: Second Uptown parade weekend, Mardi Gras, and Ash Wednesday

Since Open Studio Monthly members will not have access during this time, the fee for March 2025 has been prorated from $139 to $99. Please note that we are also currently closed all day on Thursdays due to scheduled classes.

*Please note that Open Studio Monthly is now a subscription-based membership option with automatic payments that will occur on the first of the month. This listing is for your initial payment only. Please save your payment method when you check out so we can set up your automatic payments. Your membership can be canceled with 30 days' notice sent to info@nolaclay.org.

Your membership includes

• Access to the main Clay Center studio during our open hours.
• Firing fees for bisque and glaze firings.
• Your own shelf in the main studio for storing your clay and works-in-progress.
• Your own locker for securely storing your tools, glazes, other supplies, and personal items.
• No long term commitment! Membership can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

Good to know

• The $139 monthly fee will be charged automatically on the first of each month via a Stripe subscription payment.
• Your Open Studio Monthly membership can be canceled with 30 days’ written notice sent to info@nolaclay.org.
• Clay is not included in the membership fee but can be purchased onsite during open hours.
• Clay purchased elsewhere must be for cone 5/6 firing (called "midrange"). Low-fire clay (cones 06/04) may not be used in the Clay Center studio.
• If the studio is closed for an extended amount of time in a given month, a prorated amount of the monthly membership fee will be refunded.
  
• The number of Open Studio Monthly spots available is very limited, so don't wait to sign up!
